Data Base Administrator
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 2-8 years implementation & operational hands-on experience with Oracle (8/8i/9i/10g/11g) on UNIX and Windows platforms.
  • Familiar with Oracle running on HA like VERITAS Cluster and RAC in a production environment would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge or experience in MS SQL Server.
  • Technically independent with good initiative; able to provide 2nd level support and work under pressure
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production database issues.
  • Good working attitude and able to provide adhoc support as and when required.
  • A good team player.
  • Customer oriented with a good sense in adopting and following operational procedures.
  • Candidate with DB2 skill set on Unix would be an advantage.
  • Candidate with Oracle App 11i experience would be an advantage.
  • Candidate familiar with SQL tuning would be an advantage.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Preferably a certified Oracle DBA.
