(Singapore) Responsibilities: - Minimum 2-8 years implementation & operational hands-on experience with Oracle (8/8i/9i/10g/11g) on UNIX and Windows platforms.
- Familiar with Oracle running on HA like VERITAS Cluster and RAC in a production environment would be an advantage.
- Good working knowledge or experience in MS SQL Server.
- Technically independent with good initiative; able to provide 2nd level support and work under pressure
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production database issues.
- Good working attitude and able to provide adhoc support as and when required.
- A good team player.
- Customer oriented with a good sense in adopting and following operational procedures.
- Candidate with DB2 skill set on Unix would be an advantage.
- Candidate with Oracle App 11i experience would be an advantage.
- Candidate familiar with SQL tuning would be an advantage.
- Good communication skill.
- Preferably a certified Oracle DBA.
