Business Intelligence Analyst (Singapore - Alexandra) Responsibilities: Project Management / Business Analysis Gather and document reporting requirements. Derive project plan and communicate project progress status. Deploy BI solutions and conduct user acceptance test and sign off. Evangelize reports by conducting demo, training and roadshow. Design reports look and feel, propose UI and deployment functions. Create stored procedures or SSIS packages from multiple servers for reporting use. Ensure data is of high accuracy and of good integrity. Develop reports using SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services or Excel 2007 Ongoing maintenance of deployed reports such as change request Analyze and articulate trend in executive meetings Apply statistical knowledge for drivers analysis Analyze seasonality and forecast volume and revenue Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in IT / Statistics / Computer Science At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in SQL Server database management and have proven track record in delivering business analytics. Applicants must be willing to work in Alexandra Highly proficient in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008 and Excel Strong experience in database design, creating stored procedures, packages (SSIS) as well as server configurations. Must have experience in setting up new database servers. Ability to self-learn new database and articulate the business rule behind the data to stakeholders. Highly resourceful individual who is proactive in asking and persistent in getting to understand the meaning behind the data Experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Reporting, ideally combined with an industry qualification and a system development background Applications meeting the above requirements would be reviewed first.
